Lessons Learned Building and Operating the World’s Largest OpenStack Clouds

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Rackspace is ideally positioned to help enterprises as one of the founders of OpenStack, as operator of the world’s largest OpenStack public cloud and as operator of some of the world’s largest private clouds. As clouds grow larger and more expansive, things like fleet management become critical.

Join as we discuss the lessons Rackspace has learned building, managing and scaling the world’s largest OpenStack clouds. We will review specific lessons learned building and operating the world’s largest OpenStack public cloud and the two 1,000 node OpenStack Innovation Center clusters that are been used by many OpenStack community members for scale testing. I will also talk about Craton, an open source project to apply lessons learned by Rackspace to build fleet management tooling.
